We got new news of recently announced AMD Ryzen 5000 series desktop processors. The news comes from the PassMark benchmark, where the Ryzen 5 5600X CPU has just claimed the top position in the single-threaded performance charts.
The AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Zen 3 based Desktop CPU now holds the top position in single-threaded performance on the PassMark benchmark list. The CPU which is going to be positioned against the Intel 10 gen Core i5-10600K exceeds the single-threaded performance of the Core i9-10900K which is very impressive.
The upcoming AMD Ryzen 5 5600X CPU scores 3495 points in the said benchmark, while the Intel 10th Gen Core i9 10900K processor score is 3177 points. That means AMD’s mid-range Ryzen CPU offers 10% better performance. The Zen 2 CPU Ryzen 5 3600XT scores 2833 points. That means the new Ryzen 5 5600X successor is nearly 23% faster than the Ryzen 5 5600X processor.
