The Gigabyte quietly released a new variant of the AORUS GeForce RTX 3080 Master Graphics card. This new variant is also found on Gigabyte’s website
The new variant of the AORUS RTX 3080 Master has a more distinctive update though. The card received a third 8-pin power connector which could indicate that this new Master variant could feature the same board design as the AORUS XTREME variant. With the extra 8-pin PCIe power connector on the new RTX 3080 Master revision, Gigabyte also raised the minimum power supply recommendation from 750W up to 850W.
The other specifications are similar to the original RTX 3080 Master Graphics card which has a boost clock of 1845 MHz, approximately 7.9% higher than the boost clock on the Founders Edition model. Comper to the Xtreme variant, the GPU is just 60 MHz lower.
