Recently AMD has announced that the AMD CEO Dr. Lisa Su, will be hosting the company’s CES 2021 keynote on the 12th of January 2021.
In this Show, the company is expected to unveil its Ryzen 5000 mobile lineups codenamed Cezanne and Lucienne. These processors will be based on the Zen 3 and Zen 2 core architecture and faster performance in the mobility segment. AMD might be talking about the Threadripper 5000 series based on Zen3 architecture. AMD will also be announcing support for Ryzen 5000 Desktop processors codenamed Vermeer on 400-series motherboards through a new and official AGESA (22.214.171.124 / 126.96.36.199) firmware that its board partners are currently testing out internally.
We can also expect to AMD unveil its next-gen RDNA 2 GPU Arcitecure based Radeon RX 6700 series which will bring Navi 2X into the mainstream segment and directly compete with Nvidia Geforce RTX 3060 Ti which launch today.
