Recently we got an official Intel Rocket Lake 11th Gen Desktop CPU family slides that confirm the specifications of processors. The Intel Rocket Lake Desktop CPUs launch on the 30th of March.
The first slides show the game performance of Intel’s flagship CPU 11th Gen Core i9-11900K compares with Intel’s flagship 10 core CPU Core i9-10900K.
According to the Slide, The Intel including Total War: Three Kingdoms, Gears 5, Grid 2019, and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. These Games were tested at 1080p with high settings. As per Intel, The Intel Core i9-11900K is up to 14% faster than Core i9-10900K while The average performance gain over the previous generation is around 11%.
Specification of Intel Core i9-11900K Desktop CPUs
Intel Core i9-11900K will be the flagship processor in 11th Gen Rocket Lake. The CPU feature 8 cores and 16 threads, 16 MB of L3 cache (2 MB per core), and 4 MB of L2 cache (512 KB per core). The CPU running at a base clock of 3.5 GHz, 5.2 GHz (1-core) maximum boost clock while the all-core boost frequency will be maintained at 4.8 GHz.
The processor also features Thermal Velocity Boost which should deliver a 100 MHz jump in the max clock frequency.
The Processor feature a 1st stage power limit of 125W which is standard for a flagship Intel SKU and the 2nd stage power limit or PL2 is rated at 250W.
According to WCCFTECH Intel could aggressively price the chips at around 400 USD.
Specification of Intel Core i7-11700K Processor
The Intel Core i7-11700K Processor also features the same 8 cores and 16 thread. The chip feature a boost clock of 5.0 GHz on a single and 4.6 GHz across all of its 8 cores. In the cache, The processor carries the same amount of cache as Core i9-11900K so nothing has changed.
The Core i7-11700K Processor will feature around 225-250W (PL2) limit while the PL1 limit will be standard at 125W.
In price The Intel Core i7-11700K processor at around 300 USD.
Specification of Intel Core i5-11600K Processor
The Core i5-11600K Processor feature 6 core and 12 threads which should be going up against the AMD Ryzen 5 5600X. The chip feature a clock speed of 4.9 GHz on a single and 4.6 GHz across all cores. The processor will feature 12 MB of L3 cache and 3 MB of L2 cache.
