As per the leaks, The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 was spotted with 10 GB GDDR6X of memory clocked at 4750 Mhz. That is the effective clock speed of 19 Gbps. This Ampere RTX 3080 10GB of GDDR6X is used on a 320-bit memory interface, This should deliver a memory bandwidth of 760 GB/s. This is almost a 53% increase in the memory bandwidth which is very impressive over the previous-gen Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER Graphics card.
The new GeForce RTX 3080 will have a core clock at a maximum limit of 2.1 GHz. The limit is similar to the Turing series GPUs which also peak around 2.1 GHz. The actual clock speed of NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 30 series ( GA 102 ) graphics cards is likely to be under around 1.7 GHz – 1.8 GHz.
