Recently we got some news for the First water blocks for the GeForce RTX 3090 and RTX 3080 graphics cards. EKWB has announced four new water blocks for NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 3090 & RTX 3080 GPU reference designs in its EK-Quantum Vector RTX lineup. The new water blocks for RTX 30 series (only for GA-102) come in RGB and Copper flavors with Acetal and Plexi finishes.
The company has confirmed the water block design for the (RTX 3090, RTX 3080) GA-102 based graphics cards from NVIDIA. The blocks are compatible with two SKUs: GeForce RTX 3090 and RTX 3080.
Moving to the design of the water blocks, The EKWB EK-Quantum Vector RTX series water blocks come in either Plex or Acetal plates. This water blocks Each variant is available in either copper or RGB. Lenovo also confirmed that their Legion T7 system will feature the new Nvidia RTX 30 series based GeForce RTX 3070 Ti model with GDDR6 memory. This Graphics card has not been announced or even teased by NVIDIA in any form.
The new blocks will not fit into Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 3070 graphics cardboards, as this graphics card is using a different GPU – GA104.
EK has underlined that the reference design does not mean Founders Edition GPUs. These cards with irregularly shaped boards are technically custom (they have a different board number) and they are not compatible with these new blocks.
There are two board designs of Founder Edition: PG133 (Founders Edition) and PG132 (reference design).
This block is made for reference PCB 3080 and 3090 cards. Founders Edition does NOT have a reference PCB.
Due to an immense variety of fittings/barbs available on the market and no prescribed standards, we guarantee compatibility only for connectors bought from our website.
